Phos had the privilege of working alongside one of London’s most up and coming lighting designers, Alexander Stileman, of Stileman Lighting. Tucked away behind a luminous copper door on Notting Hill’s famed Clarendon road, is Casa Cruz, which has acquired the reputation of being one of London’s hottest restaurants.
Layers of copper and mahogany streaked walls circulate the perimeter of the restaurant from top to bottom. This design detail lended itself perfectly for us to supply a 2400k Decostrip Mini Nova LED in every recesses, which offered soft, warm and indirect lighting throughout the space. Because of the amount of strip used on this scheme, the binning and colour consistency was paramount, as it all had to glow in the same colour throughout the restaurant.
The design is something you do not feel often in a restaurant. You enter a world of mirrors and subtle elegance decadence. This was a very special project to work on!
