Over the last few weeks we’ve had two of our projects featured in one of the world’s most influential design and lifestyle publications, Wallpaper Magazine.
The design gurus at Wallpaper featured the incredible lighting design, by ‘There’s Light’ at BLOK’s newest fitness centre opened in Shoreditch.
The new centre was opened following the success of the original BLOK in Clapham, where we also supplied bespoke lighting to the project. The new centres stylishly combine award-winning fitness with art, design and fashion.
Both centres were designed with the aim of creating seamless lines of flawless light that give both spaces an added depth of power and beauty. The editors at Wallpaper commented: “the whole space [feels] like one, long corridor animated by light, colour and reflections.”

Following on from this feature, we then spotted our lights once again in an editorial piece published earlier this week for Omar’s Place; a stylish new Mediterranean restaurant opened in London’s Victoria area.
The restaurant design by Sella-Concept draws its inspiration from the sun and the result is a backdrop of cool terracotta walls, scalloped timber slats and earthy rusty hued banquettes. To celebrate this interior, Ecoled designed and manufactured brass Zep 6 Eyeconic luminaires and soft flush LEDs to complement the light tones of the elegant setting.
