Ecoled are once again supporting the Museum of Architecture’s (MoA) winter fundraiser, the Gingerbread City event, which is taking place throughout December.
The spectacular festive exhibition attracted over 16,000 visitors last year and featured inspiring gingerbread structures made by some of the country’s leading architects, engineers and designers.
We are once again sponsoring the event and providing all the lights that will be giving the city a festive glow. We will be supplying our linear LEDs along with our miniature downlight range to bring the mouth-watering city to life.
Being part of the Gingerbread City is a great way to expose your creativity and a fun end of year project for you and your team. As well as this, the event attracts great press coverage!
Practices that are already on board include 4M Group, Bell Phillips architects, Foster + Partners and Zaha Hadid Architects.
All practices that are involved will be invited to the opening night on Tuesday 5th December from 5pm-8:30pm.
The exhibition will then be open to the public from 9th-22nd December from 10am-6pm. Throughout the month the MoA will also be running a series of gingerbread building workshops alongside the event for children and families to enjoy.
The MoA are a charitable organisation, set up with the aim of better engaging the public with architect. All the money raised from the event goes towards supporting the development of their programming for people working in the built environment.
